Meta Ads Is Now a Connected Data Source

Connect Meta Ads to AI Data Stream. Analyze Facebook and Instagram campaigns, decompose lead numbers, and verify results against GA4 with AI. Available on Pro and Business plans.

Meta will happily report that your campaigns produced a hundred leads last month. What it won’t volunteer is that some of those never left Instagram, some were counted because someone merely saw an ad, and your analytics only ever witnessed a fraction of them.

Meta Ads is now available as a connected data source on Pro and Business plans — and untangling that number is exactly what your AI can now do.

The Number That Isn’t One Number

On the very first real account we analyzed with this connection, Meta’s pixel reported over four times as many leads as GA4 recorded for the same period. Nothing was broken. That’s just what Meta’s headline figure looks like once you know what’s inside it: Instant Form leads captured on Facebook or Instagram itself (which never touch your website), pixel leads from your site, view-through conversions from people who saw an ad but never clicked, and modeled conversions estimated for iOS users who opted out of tracking.

The AI reads the underlying breakdown instead of the headline, reports each kind separately, and — when GA4 is connected — uses your analytics as the verification baseline and explains the gap rather than silently picking a number.

With Meta Ads connected, the AI can answer questions like:

  • “How many of the leads Meta claims can GA4 actually verify?”
  • “How does Instagram compare to Facebook for us — and is Audience Network earning its spend?”
  • “Which ads are fatiguing, and which campaigns are running on a single creative?”
  • “How does Meta’s cost per verified conversion compare with Google Ads this quarter?”

What the AI Can Analyze

Connecting an ad account makes four tools available:

  • Campaign performance — Spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, reach, frequency, and conversions per campaign, with objectives
  • Performance over time — Daily, weekly, and monthly trends for spotting spikes, drops, and creative fatigue
  • Audience breakdown — Performance segmented by age, gender, country, region, platform (Facebook vs Instagram), placement, or device
  • Ad performance — Ad sets and individual creatives compared side by side, with their parent campaign

All access is read-only. We never create, edit, or pause anything in your account.

Four New Skills

The Meta Ads connection ships with four new skills in the catalog:

  • Meta Ads Account Audit — A scored teardown of campaign structure, creative testing gaps, frequency saturation, and placement waste — including whether Audience Network’s famously inflated click-through rates are producing anything.
  • Meta Tracking Health Check — Quantifies the pixel-vs-GA4 gap and attributes it to its causes: native leads, view-through, modeling, or an actual tracking fault that needs fixing.
  • Meta Lead Attribution Check — Decomposes the blended lead number, verifies pixel leads against GA4, follows them into your CRM if one is connected, and computes cost per verified lead.
  • Meta vs Google Ads Channel Mix — Both platforms judged by the same yardstick — GA4 — with a concrete verdict on where the next unit of budget should go.

Like all skills, these produce shareable reports and can be scheduled to run automatically.

Example Questions to Try

Once connected, try asking your AI:

Audit my Meta Ads account for the last 30 days.

Break down our lead number — native forms vs website leads.

How does Instagram compare to Facebook on cost per conversion?

Which ads are fatiguing — falling CTR on rising spend?

How many of Meta's reported conversions can GA4 verify?

Should we move budget between Meta and Google Ads?

The AI works best when Meta sits alongside your other sources. “Meta says 100 leads, GA4 saw 30, the CRM shows 12 deals — what’s real?” is the kind of question that needs all three — and now it gets all three.
