# Claude Opus 4.7 Is Now Available

Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.7 at the same price as 4.6. Both models are available in AI Data Stream.

Anthropic released **Claude Opus 4.7** today. We have added it to AI Data Stream as a new model option. Opus 4.6 remains available, so you can pick whichever works best for your use case.

## Pricing

Anthropic prices Opus 4.7 identically to Opus 4.6:

- **Input:** $5 per million tokens
- **Output:** $25 per million tokens

## No Automatic Migration

If Opus 4.6 is your default, it stays your default. Opus 4.7 simply appears as an additional choice in the model picker and in your Anthropic provider settings.

## New "xhigh" Effort Level

Opus 4.7 adds a new **xhigh** effort level, sitting between `high` and `max`. It is exclusive to 4.7 — Opus 4.6 still exposes low, medium, high, max.

The full effort scale for Opus 4.7: **low, medium, high, xhigh, max**.

See [Anthropic's announcement](https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-opus-4-7) for details on what changed in the model itself.
